2. Chaos & Courage: Women Raising Children with ADHD
Chaos & Courage offers a unique focus on the wellbeing of women who are called upon to educate and advocate about AD/HD to teachers, friends and family with very little support of their own. Mothers will be exposed to the stress management techniques used by top CEOs, who also operate in taxing environment, as well as the latest research on the genetics of AD/HD and its management. Participants will also discover, most importantly, that they are not alone in their efforts, but rather are part of a dynamic community of women. Time has been set aside for brainstorming the next steps in helping women to gather strength from our numbers and courage in camaraderie – as this retreat is the first step in empowering women and families affected by AD/HD to better navigate school, family, and work life.
