If you are wondering how to make an appointment for your student, please contact the campus nearest you to set-up an appointment with a Student Planning Counselor. Contact information is available here.
Individual appointments are only available to Bucks students and alumni. If your child is not a Bucks student, encourage him or her to sign-up for a pre-admit class by calling (215) 968-8189. The pre-admit helps prospective students understand what to expect from college. Students currently attending high school should contact their guidance counselor or the career services office at their high school for pre-college support and information.Career Services hosts career exploration workshops for undecided students at each campus throughout the academic year. We also offer monthly job search workshops. Please note that we currently do not run workshops in the summer. You can view the schedule here. Workshops are open to the community, so even if your child is not a current student, he or she is welcome to attend any of our workshops.
Job fairs are a terrific way to start networking with employers and get an idea of what it is really like to work in a particular field. Even if your son or daughter is not currently looking for a job, the job fairs are a great way to gather information. All job fairs are open to the public. For a current schedule, please click here.
Career Services does not offer a test that will tell your child what he or she should do or that will predict what he or she will "be when they grow up." Counselors occassionally will recommend certain assessments to help clarify interests and personality characteristics. For more on assessment, please click here.
