The Gallery at Lower Bucks Campus offers accessible and affordable cultural opportunities to the lower Bucks County community, increases visibility and awareness of the arts and local artists and raises resources for Bucks County Community College and its students.
Spring 2016 Exhibitions
Show Some HeArt 125 | February 1st – March 5th | Show Some HeART 125 Prospectus
Show Some HeART is the signature exhibition at the Gallery at Lower Bucks Campus. It will feature a diverse collection of art that is available for purchase at $125.00 per piece. $25.00 dollars from each purchase will be donated to the Bucks County Community College Foundation's Scholarship Fund. Open to all artists and artist groups. Show Some HeART Events will feature the following free events:
- An opening reception on February 5th from 6:00 PM – 8: 30 PM with live music and much more!
A Professional Preparation for Artists Seminar with Rodney Miller on Saturday, February 6th, 10 AM – 12PM
Talent, perspective and passion are important characteristics of the creative process. Beyond the work created, however is the art of professionalism. This seminar will provide you with the tips and techniques that will enhance your ability to increase the visibility of your work and the opportunity to sell your work.
This two-hour seminar will include:
- Proper framing and matting techniques.
- Preparing your art for show acceptance and sale.
- Proper wiring techniques for exhibitions.
- Artist Etiquette
- Tips on pricing your work.
- Showing your work and recognizing patrons.
- An Afternoon with the Artists on Saturday, February 6th, 12PM - 2PM
Enjoy some lite fare while listening to music and watching artist demonstrations in the spacious Student Commons at Lower Bucks Campus!

The theme of this exhibition will focus on work related to and associated with water. Open to all artists and artist groups. Opening reception will be held Friday, April 8th from 6PM to 8:30 PM. Gallery “finale” open house reception, Saturday, May 14th from 11AM – 2PM.
