Trips and Travel Club Invites the Public to a Variety of Day Trips from Newtown
Hop on the bus to locales like the Bronx Zoo or the Lower East Side at an affordable round-trip ticket price
Bucks County Community College’s Trips and Travel Club invites the public to hop on the bus for a variety of day trips leaving from the Newtown campus. Destinations include the Bronx Zoo, Washington, D.C., and more.
Senior rates are for those over 65 years old. Student rates are for Bucks County Community College students with current ID. Tickets include transportation and museum admission when applicable.
The club has tickets available to the following destinations. Times listed are departure and return times to and from the campus at 275 Swamp Rd., Newtown, Pa., where there is ample free parking.
- The Bronx Zoo, Wed. April 10. 7:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Tickets $55 for adults; $50 seniors, alumni and employees; $25 students. Take in this award-winning zoo in the heart of the Bronx, NYC.
- Lower East Side Eating Tour, Fri. April 12. 7:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Tickets $75 for adults; $70 for seniors, alumni and employees; $25 students. From knishes to donuts to dumpling, there is something for everyone as we learn about the historical and cultural ways that food brought (and brings) this country together.
The Trips and Travel Club is one of nearly 50 student clubs and organizations available through Bucks County Community College’s Office of Student Life. Each trip is open to the public.
