Welcome to SOCI150- Criminology!
In this course, we will examine the sociological relationships involved in the causes and prevention of crime. We will explore the topics of juvenile delinquency, the treatment of criminal offenders, criminal behavior patterns as well as various influences on criminal behavior. Additionally, through the use of real life legal cases, we will examine the role of the criminal justice system as well as possible solutions to criminal behavior. I hope you will find the study of criminology as fascinating as I have.
