Other Information about the Course |
Welcome to Physics A! I hope you find this class both interesting and informative. Since this is an online class, you need to manage your time wisely and be organized. Please know that I am here to help you in any way possible (within reason), but it is ultimately your responsibility to take ownership of your success in the class.
Prior to starting the class, make sure that you have access to a reliable internet connection and have the ability to access common products (mostly Powerpoint, Word, and pdf documents) for the class.
Please be aware that this is a 4-credit, lab-based, full-semester course compressed into 6 weeks. You must be able to devote time and attention to this course as the material will be covered at a fairly quick pace! If you have multiple other obligations, scheduled vacations, etc., you may want to take this course during the regular semester. You will have at least one chapter assignment, quiz, and/or lab due every few days that must be submitted by the posted deadlines. Physics can be a demanding subject, so you must be able to commit a good amount of time in order to grasp the material.
IMPORTANT! The midterm and final are proctored and must be taken in a Testing Center located on any one of the Bucks campuses. If this is not possible, proper arrangements for proctoring at an approved alternate Testing Center must be completed during the first week of class. Please note that I reserve the right to deny a request if the proctor and/or location are deemed unsuitable.
I look forward to working with you in the course! If you have any questions feel free to email me at Michael.Babij@bucks.edu.
