A proctored midterm and a proctored final is required for the course.
College Algebra eLearning is for the highly motivated math student. This course requires about 10 hours a week of work. There will be 9 online quizzes, online homeworks and a Proctored Midterm and a Proctored cumulative Final exam. You have two tries for the quizzes and unlimited tries for the HW till the due date. The online quizzes count as 45% of the grade, online HW's count as 5% of the grade and the Midterm and final each count as 25% of the grade.
The Calculator used in this course must be scientific, non-graphing calculators. The selected calculator for all courses including this one is a TI-30X IIS (note this is not part of the Multi View series for this calculator).
To clarify further, graphing calculators, multi view calculators, devices with internet connectivity, and calculators with a built-in CAS (computer algebra system) are not permitted.
College Algebra uses the course management tool called MYMATHLAB.
