Other Information about the Course |
Students must have access to a digital video camera for this class. Use of a webcam for this class is not allowed. The library at BCCC has digital cameras that are available for loan, just like a book. MInDSpace personnel can also help you with uploading your video to Canvas!
Students must organize an audience of at least FIVE ADULTS. The audience must be shown prior to the speech. You must record your speeches in a professional environment where you will not be interrupted, either in your home, school or work environment.
Late assignments (speeches, online assignments, discussion postings, etc.) are not accepted unless appropriate documentation is provided.
Class work for the course will be computer intensive and will require students to have access to the Internet. Using our Canvas "Virtual Classroom," you may be required to complete assignments, address weekly topics on the electronic discussion board and possibly participate in chats. If you are unfamiliar with Canvas, please sign up for an orientation class. Contact online learning for more information.
Online Learning requires that you are a mature and organized individual who will be dedicated to completing course work on your own. I will be available by email or telephone, to help you with your work, but the major responsibility for completing work is yours.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me via email at victoria.mahmoud@bucks.edu.
I look forward to a great semester!
Victoria Mahmoud
