Accessing Your Course
Your course is using MyMathLab, which requires the purchase of an
access code. This code is usually packaged with a new textbook, but may also be purchased
separately from the MyMathLab website if it is not included with your book.
Information about MyMathLab can be found at http://www.mymathlab.com. Please check the systems Requirement page to verify your computer compatibility.
Your instructor will provide an additional course code you will need to
access your specific course.
Purchasing Your Books and Other Course Materials
While you may purchase your books and other course materials from the provider of your choice (using the

Other Information about the Course
This course is the third course in the Calculus sequence and requires a grade of C or better in Calculus II. Multivariable Calculus is the study of vectors and solid analytic geometry, surfaces, partial differentiation, directional derivatives, lagrange multipliers, multiple integrals, cylindrical coordinates, spherical coordinates and Jacobians.
There will be online quizzes and online homework along with a required proctored Midterm and Final. The Midterm and final each count as 25% of the final grade. Be sure to go over the Smart Board notes since that is what is covered in class. This course is designed for the mature math student who is willing to put in many hours learning the material.
MYMATHLAB is used in this course. The Calculator used in this course must be scientific, non-graphing calculators. The selected calculator for most courses including this one is a TI-30X IIS (note this is not part of the Multi View series for this calculator). To clarify further, graphing calculators, multi view calculators, devices with internet connectivity, and calculators with a built-in CAS (computer algebra system) are not permitted.
