BCCC Advising Via Email
Guidelines to keep in mind when emailing an advisor:
- In-person advising is preferable to email advising. However, often it is more convenient to ask a question via email than to come to campus. We offer email advising as a service to supplement our person-to-person interaction.
- To protect your privacy, do not include your social security number with your email question.
- We will not send information regarding your personal student record via email. You can view your BCCC academic records using Web Advisor.
- It is in your best interest to communicate with Advisors and Instructors using your BCCC email account - which is free for your use and password protected.
- If not using your validated BCCC student email account, know that the BCCC advisor will use your provided BCCC student ID number to validate your identity.
- Once you provide your student id number and questions specific to your academic (or financial) situation, a BCCC advisor will review your record in order to answer your questions.
