GED Pre-registration Schedule

Only Pennsylvania residents may take the GED in Pennsylvania.  You must present proof of residence (such as a driver's license or utility bill).  All test takers must know their social security number and must present a current form of government issued photo identification (example: a drivers license, a passport, or non-driver's State Identification Card). These are State requirements.

IF STATE REQUIREMENTS ARE NOT MET YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO REGISTER OR TEST. 

GED TEST  PRE-REGISTRATION

Pre-registration is now required  before taking the GED for the first time.  You must bring payment and proper identification (see GED Testing Policies and Requirements). You will not be permitted to register without payment and proper ID. 

Candidates who need to re-test and those who are continuing or completing the test battery, will call the GED information and appointment line at 215-968-8065.Candidates will be able to make an appointment for the exam/s they need on the phone. The $15 fee per test will be paid on the day of the first exam they are taking.  

As of Februray 2012, the  fee for the full GED is $75. The  fee for retaking the GED is  $15 per Subject Test. The GED Testing fee must be paid in Cash or by Money Order only made payable to BCCC-no checks. If paying by cash please bring exact amount.

    *Last registration will be at 5:45pm.

*** If you have taken any GED test previously in a different state, we must receive a sealed transcript of your scores prior to registration.

  • If you will be parking during pre-registration at our Lower Bucks Campus, go to the front desk to recive a visitor's pass for your car.
  • If you will be parking during pre-registration at our Newtown Campus, you must stop at Security to get a vistor's pass for your car.   

The complete GED is offered monthly at both the Main Campus in Newtown and at the Lower Bucks Campus (LBC) in Bristol.  Testing sessions are held over a two-day period, on a Monday and Tuesday, with individual Subject Tests scheduled in the morning and afternoon.  All five GED Subject Tests are offered at each of the monthly two day sessions.
