Placement Testing FAQS
What Do I Need to Bring to the Test?
You must present a current government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license. Student ID's with photos are acceptable for placement testing, but cannot be used to take any other tests.
You will also need to bring your Bucks student number, which was provided in your acceptance letter.
What if I FAIL the placement test?
The good news is you can’t fail a placement test. The test shows how much you already know, so you can be placed in the appropriate class where you can be successful.
What if I forget the directions to a certain type of question?
The Accuplacer directions are repeated every time, for every question.
When will I have the results?
Right away! As soon as you finish the Accuplacer Reading and Math test, you will be able to see your results and get a copy of them. Writing results are available approximately one to two weeks after completing the test, after your essay has been scored by our Language and Literature Department.
