Steps to Getting Started
- Call or e-mail the Office of Adult Student Services for a college catalog and an application. We will be happy to speak with you and to help you access the information and services you need to enroll and to be successful at Bucks.
- Complete your application and mail it in with your check to the Office of Admissions. Contact your high school or college to have a copy of your transcripts sent to the Admissions Office.
- Complete a financial aid application and/or meet with a counselor in the Financial Aid Office as soon as possible. (There are deadlines for most funding sources.) Staff will help you to evaluate your eligibility and to complete application forms for financial assistance.
- Meet with a counselor or attend an information session for adult students. Please refer to the current semester brochure for dates and times or call (215) 968-8107.
- Contact the Office of Testing and Retention to find out when you may take an assessment test. Adult students often find that they have forgotten some of their academic skills over the years and that a brush up course may be helpful before entering college classes. This required assessment in basic reading, writing, and math skills will help advisors to place you in the appropriate courses.
- Register for classes. The Office of Admissions will send you a course schedule and a list of where and when you may register at your convenience. Click here to request a catalog online. In some cases you will be able to mail in your registration and as a continuing student at Bucks, you may have the option of calling in or registering online. Academic Advising is available and is recommended for all students.
International students are required to contact the Office of Adult and Multicultural Student Services (215-968-8107) before registering for classes so that all necessary paperwork may be completed.
