Statewide Public Safety Training Program

Bucks County Community College takes great pride in our role to train the emergency responders of Pennsylvania by providing them with an opportunity to receive quality education regionally throughout the Commonwealth, as well as, on-site at Fire Stations.  Bucks County Community College supports educational programs in the concentration areas of public safety operation and management, public safety certification, emergency management operations, and industrial safety.  Our programs are designed to enhance a First Responder’s ability to deliver life saving services to the communities they serve.  Our Training Program is committed and proud that we link our training courses with the professional certification testing identified through the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standards.  We feel this opportunity offers our State’s responders with the necessary tools required for meeting the demands associated with emergency incidents.  This training and certification format also provides for First Responder credentialing opportunities within their home jurisdiction.  It is our goal to be your full service provider in Pennsylvania and to always strive to meet or exceed your department’s training and certification needs.

Bucks County Community College’s Statewide Regional & On-Site Training Program offers your department the ability to schedule training at your location with a flexible schedule to meet the growing needs of your community.  This helps to accommodate the time restrictions and constraints placed on your employees and members.  Our classes offer adjustable course scheduling to ensure a visionary approach to on-demand training opportunities with our College.  Many of our current courses and many future courses will be continuously aligned with the pertinent NFPA Standards as well as State and Federal Regulations to ensure your educational experience is both practical and compliant with accepted practices involving the emergency services organizations locally and throughout the world.

To accomplish our mission as well as the mission of our customer’s training and certification needs, Bucks County Community College is accredited by the National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (ProBoard) which ensures a valid and reliable testing process.  In addition, our College is accredited through the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
