essay. Here you write, in a lay-person's words, a description of
the way in which the content of the course which you are challenging
is a part of your experience. Different for each portfolio
that you may be submitting.
- Narrative (Translation
of experience into competencies) Here, using academic language,
or the language of the course syllabus, in the form of a table,
you list the course requirements on the left and match them point
by point (as possible) with your knowledge and experience on the
right. It is important to refer the reader very specifically to the samples in section
5 (below) and the verifications in section 7 (below). Different

- Samples of work These demonstrating
your competencies. They include, for example, job descriptions; work evaluations; documents,
articles or papers you have written; notes that you have taken during classes/lectures; blueprints; diagrams; newspaper or journal articles

- Relevant professional
certificates / diplomas. Different for each portfolio that
you may be submitting.
- Relevant, specific letters
