Methods of Earning College Credit
Prior Learning Credit is marked CL or LE on the Bucks County
Community College transcript. This credit is not automatically
accepted by transfer schools, and anyone planning to transfer
should look into this matter with the transfer schools(s)
concerned, before starting the Prior Learning Assessment process.

certifications that are ACE
or PONSI approved
are accepted by Bucks. Students should determine ACE or PONSI
acceptance by contacting the school or organization that issued
their certificate or by contacting ACE
or PONSI. ACE

Official transcripts are required for all certificates. An
official transcript is one sent directly to Bucks County Community
College from the issuing institution. It must be on official
letterhead, bear the date and appropriate signature, and be sent
by regular mail.
