Credit Recommendations
Many non-collegiate instruction and training programs have been evaluated to determine if the material taught is equivalent to college courses, leading to formal Credit Recommendations.
The programs listed alphabetically on this page represent those that are recognized as equivalent to particular Bucks courses. Click on the program name to reveal the associated course(s).
If you find your training program listed here and the equivalent course(s) is in your Bucks Program of Study, submit a PLA Application and official transcript or credential to seek equivalent credit.
ACE and National CCRS Evaluated Courses
The American Council on Education (ACE) and the National College Credit Recommendation Service (National CCRS) evaluate non-collegiate instructional programs to provide credit recommendations. If your training was evaluated by one of these agencies, the institution that provided your training will be able to provide a detailed transcript with credit recommendations. If any of those credit recommendations are equivalent to a course(s) in your Bucks Program of Study, submit a PLA Application and official transcript to seek equivalent credit.
