Gateway Center Teacher Station's Operating Instructions

Six Easy Steps to Operation

1. Power Up the Station—The Power switch behind the right cabinet door should be red. If it isn’t, turn it on. Review all equipment in cabinet, including document camera located in drawer to the right and be sure each item is turned on. (VCR is always on.)
   
   
2. Turn on control system—Locate the Crestron Touch panel on the desktop. If the screen is black, touch the screen to wake it up. Press the “ON” button at the top of the screen.
   

1. Selection of equipment—Select the piece of equipment you wish to use by touching the appropriate button at the bottom of the touch screen. If the projector and screen are not ready, selecting a piece of equipment should activate them.
   
   
2. Volume—You can adjust the volume of individual pieces of equipment by using the volume control located to the right on the touch screen after you have selected a piece of equipment.
   
   
3. Continue to use the system by selecting the various pieces of equipment you wish to use.
   
   
4. SHUT DOWN—When you are finished turn off all equipment, but DO NOT TURN OFF THE POWER SWITCH BEHIND THE RIGHT CABINET DOOR. (The VCR stays on.) Turn off the system power at the top of the touch pad. This should retract the screen and turn off the projector.
