Peer mentors, called Success Advocates, are available to help students transition into Bucks and navigate their college careers by serving as a connection for them and the college community. Success Advocates can answer questions about different Bucks services, connect students to clubs and organizations, and help students navigate the campus.
Connect with an Advocate
Based upon students' interest forms, the Program Supervisors pair students with a Success Advocate who may share the same major, similar interests, and/or similar schedules. We pair students with mentors so that students have a consistent support person to reach out to throughout the semester. The Success Advocate will be there to answer any questions students may have about the College and share their personal experiences to help equip students with the tools for success.
If meeting with a Success Advocate sounds beneficial to you, please complete an interest form and click submit.
Drop-in mentoring hours will also be available around campus and in the Tutoring Center at Newtown and UBC during the semester, so feel free to drop-in during posted hours to ask your questions. Click on Drop-In Hours to view the Spring 2017 schedule.
If you are limited on time, you can also ask a question to one of the mentors by using the Ask a Mentor form.
Please contact one of the Program Supervisors with any questions. We hope to help make your time at Bucks a success!
