CoLab Room 2 Policy

The CoLab room 2 is designed to facilitate collaborative learning activities in a student-centered environment. Class meetings requiring the use of iPads may also take place in this room.

Reserving the space: The space is available for reservation during the open hours of the Bucks Newtown Library. Faculty wishing to schedule a class meeting or use of the iPad cart in the CoLab 2 Room may do so by completing this form:

  • Newtown Library Room Reservation Request

The following parameters govern scheduling of the room for course use:

  • Reservation normally requires seven days notice.
  • Instructor must be in attendance.
  • Activity or lesson requires collaborative work space

Open Use

Reserved use has priority. If the space is not reserved, students, faculty and staff may use the space.

Requester arranges furniture as needed.

Laptops, notebooks, handheld digital cameras, microphone headsets, and snowball microphones are available for check-out at the service desk. A Bucks ID is required to checkout all equipment.

Food and Beverages

Light snacks, closed bottles, travel mugs, and beverage cups with lids are permitted in the space. Trash pick-up is the responsibility of the user of the space. Failure to comply may result in the loss of the privilege to bring food and drinks into the space.
