CoLab Room 1 Policy
The CoLab Room 1 is designed to facilitate group communication and collaboration. Students and faculty may reserve this space.
Reserving the Space
The space is available for reservation during the open hours of the Bucks Newtown Library. Faculty wishing to schedule a class meeting in the Group Project Room may do so by completing CoLab Room Request form.
Students requiring use of a group work space may schedule a work-time by completing this form:
The following parameters govern scheduling of the room for course use:
- Reservation normally requires seven days notice.
- Instructor must be in attendance.
- Activity or lesson requires collaborative work space
The following parameters govern scheduling of the room for student use:
- At least two students from the group are present at time of reservation
- Activity or assignment requires collaborative work space
Reserved use has priority. If the space is not reserved, students, faculty and staff may use the space.
Requester arranges furniture as needed.
Laptops, notebooks, handheld digital cameras, microphone headsets, and snowball microphones are available for check-out at the service desk. A Bucks ID is required to checkout all equipment.
Food and Beverages
Light snacks, closed bottles, travel mugs, and beverage cups with lids are permitted in the space. Trash pick-up is the responsibility of the user of the space. Failure to comply may result in the loss of the privilege to bring food and drinks into the space.
