Computer Lab Information

Computer access is available to currently registered BCCC and Temple Newtown students. Computer labs are located on each of the campuses and in the Open Access area in each of the college libraries. The Open Access Lab in the libraries is available during library operating hours. Assistants staff each of the labs to provide individual help with computer technology and software applications.

A grid showing software available in each lab is available on the Lab Software page.

A current BCCC Student ID card is required for use of the College's computer resources. Student IDs are distributed at the circulation desk in the Library.

Access to the College's electronic information and communication sources is a privilege. Please refer to the "Responsible Use of Electronic Communication" guide to understand the full range of user responsibilities.

Computer labs are handicapped-accessible, with additional adaptive technology support  provided through the Disability Services Office: 215-968-8463.

Faculty may request use of a computer lab for their classes.

Software Information

Microsoft and Adobe Software Discounts
For BCCC Faculty, Staff, and Students

Since BCCC is a member of AICUP (Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Pennsylvania), faculty, staff, and students can purchase certain discounted software (including specified Microsoft and Adobe software) at  http://www.selectstudent.com/aicup/ through Journey Education.

When you visit the web site and select Bucks County Community College, faculty, staff, and students are eligible for most of the software listed under the “Student Shop,” which is the default site listed on the blue bar at the top. (Some of the software listed under the “Educator/Staff Shop” is priced higher, so if you are a faculty or staff member, compare the prices listed under the Student Shop tab).  When you click on one of the software products, it shows by a green checkmark who is eligible to purchase that product.  If “faculty” is checked, it also means that both faculty and staff at BCCC are eligible. Some of the products are only available to students).

Microsoft Office Software For BCCC Faculty and Staff ONLY

Our Microsoft Campus Agreement “work-at-home” software loan program allows faculty and staff (students are NOT eligible) to purchase the media for Office or Windows at our BCCC Bookstore but requires the purchaser to sign a contract.  By purchasing only the CD through this method, the individual would need to agree to sign a contract that states that the software would only be used for college-related work, that it would be removed from your home computer if the College does not renew its Campus Agreement in the future or you are no longer employed by the College, and that the software could only be installed on one computer.

If you have any questions about software discounts at BCCC, please contact Jeanette Castello, x8401, castello@bucks.edu.
