Introduction to Programming in C#
This course is an introduction to Microsoft C# programming and is an entry-level course for students planning to take the Microsoft Certified Professional Developer examinations, test numbers 70-505, 70-536, and 70-562. The course introduces Microsoft’s C# programming language, which is part of Microsoft’s .NET Framework and extensively used in developing Windows and Web-Based applications, as well as games for Windows and Xbox360. This course provides a solid programming background for the student as a standalone course, or as a foundation for more advanced programming for Web and Database applications using ASP.NET and ADO.NET, game development using Microsoft’s XNA framework, or in preparation for additional study towards the Microsoft Certified Professional Developer examinations.
