Veterans Weatherization Training Program

Bucks County Community College Green Jobs Academy, in partnership with Veterans Green Jobs is pleased to announce that applications are being accepted for its Weatherization Training Program. Veterans will participate in a 3-week training program at Bucks County Community College’s Green Jobs Academy in Bristol, PA.  Program participants will receive elite training and hands-on experience from green-industry experts.

The Veterans Green Jobs Program at Bucks County Community College Green Jobs Academy is offering free training and certifica­tion in the energy efficiency field. This program offers training and certification for PA Weatherization Installer, OSHA 10 and First Aid/CPR/AED.

 After achieving installer certification, you will be qualified to enroll in crew chief certification train­ing or start working immediately in the industry. After certifying as a crew chief you can continue and get your BPI Energy Auditor certification.

Course includes:

• Weatherization Installer Training
• Customer Service
• DOE Lead Safe Weatherization Practices
• OSHA 10 certification
• First Aid/CPR/AED
• LEED Green Associate Training

Date & time: New Cohort forming for future date and time.
Location: BCCC Green Jobs Academy Bristol, Pa Bridge Business Center
Eligibility: Candidates must be honorably discharged US military Veterans.  Applicants must also be a Pennsylvania resident with valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle.
