Weatherization Installer Training

Participants will gain knowledge about best practices for basic weatherization procedures. The lecture and hands-on experience focus on building science theory and construction technology. The student will learn how to perform weatherization functions, such as insulation, ventilation, weather stripping, sealing and caulking of walls, attics, crawlspaces and learning how to use hand and power tools. Installer training also includes Lead Safe Weatherization, Crew Safety, OSHA 10 and Weatherization Tactics.

Prerequisites: Assessment Test, Physical Capabilities Test, and a Valid Driver's License
