Grant Funding
The Center for Workforce Development is the College’s outreach program to employers in Bucks County. We offer affordable, dynamic, quality training programs adapted to your company’s specific needs. Classes can be set up on-site at your company location, or at one of the College’s Bucks County locations.
Local businesses may be eligible for PA state training grants to assist in funding their training initiatives.
As a designated partner and a Local Education Agency, The Center for Workforce Development at Bucks County Community College can assist businesses in leveraging training dollars through linkages with the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) and other funding resources.
WEDnetPA Guaranteed Free Training (GFT)
The GFT Program offers programs to fund Information Technology training and Basic Skills training for your workforce. The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has created the opportunity for employers to train employees through two programs offered by the GFT program:
- The Information Technology Training program
- The Basic Skills Training program
Qualified companies receive funds for training delivered by a variety of educational providers accessed through the Workforce and Economic Development Network of Pennsylvania (WEDnetPA). It’s simple to apply for GFT programs – call Sherry McKinney, WEDnetPA Partner at 215-968-8359 or email cwd@bucks.edu.
