Entrance Requirements:  AS degree completed, Anatomy &P hysiology 1 and 2 completed

The Advanced Medical Imaging Program offers students a unique opportunity to enter an career alternative. Students receive entry level education in state of the art advanced imaging techniques. At the completion of the Program, the student will be able to apply entry-level practices in Magnetic Resonance Imaging and be seated for the ARRT certification exam.

Classes run three evenings per week from 4PM to 8PM, Clinical hours are Mon/Tues/Wed 9AM to 3 PM.

Program

Computed Tomography - Theory (44 hours) online

This CT Certificate Program is designed for experienced medical imaging professionals seeking to enter the field of computed tomography. The didactic and clinical content is structured to meet the content requirements of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologies (ARRT) Post-primary Registry Exam in CT, and will help professionals prepare for the examination. Didactic courses are delivered online two evenings a week for a total of 4 hours weekly to accommodate the working adult student. This certificate helps to prepare students for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists’ (ARRT) post-primary registry examination in CT, as well as for entry-level CT positions. It is intended for ARRT registered imaging professionals only.
