This course is designed to introduce the student to standard drawing procedures employed in drafting official HABS drawings. Recommended for students with little or no drafting experience. -
Required Course Content and Direction

Learning Goals:
- To introduce the students to HABS drawings and their documentation
- To acquaint students with basic drawing materials and techniques
- To utilize basic drafting skills in the process of drawing HABS work
- To complete drafting exercises

Planned Sequence of Topics and/or Learning Activities:
- Introduction to HABS drawings
- Basic drawing and drafting skills
- Sketch draft - elevations, cross-sections, matching drawings, drawing enhancement
- Finishing details - lettering, contour lines, inking, special effects, and notations
