- This course examines environmental sampling techniques for air, soil, water, and biological resources. It explores various statistical methods of analysis. It compares point source versus nonpoint source pollution. It emphasizes establishing suitable monitoring schedules. Requirements include field trips.

Course Learning Goals
Students will:
- collect, record, and statistically analyze environmental data;
- assess appropriate monitoring schedules;
- describe environmental impacts of point source and nonpoint source pollution; and
- prepare research reports with review of scientific literature.

- physical parameters of habitats
- atmospheric sampling and analysis

- terrestrial habitat sampling and analysis
- aquatic habitat sampling and analysis
