Catalog Course Description
This course is a study of specialized procedures used in law offices and legal departments of businesses with emphasis on points of law and legal secretarial procedures. Students will complete computer applications projects. -

Learning Goals:
- Course Students will
- demonstrate an understanding of basic legal concepts and terminology;
- prepare and format legal documents; and
- manage a legal office with as little guidance as possible from the attorney.

- develop effective telephone skills
- use calendars and billing records
- prepare legal documents using word processing
