- This course is designed for students wishing to develop touch keyboarding skills. Keyboard mastery will be developed with emphasis on accuracy and speed. Completion speed - 25 words per minute.

Course Learning Goals
- Course Students will
- type on a keyboard at a minimum of 25 wpm on two-minute straight copy timed writings with no more than one error per minute;
- use correct touch typing keyboarding techniques on the alpha, numeric, and symbol keys; and
- demonstrate the ability to proofread keyboarded copy, identify and correct errors, check grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

Assessment Methods for Course Learning Goals
