- This course will analyze the e-business environment to determine strategy and performance necessary in organizational and marketing efforts. Cases for analysis will include both industry leaders and .com failures to determine the critical success factors that drive the industry.

- Explaining offensive strategy vs. defensive strategy
- Establishing cooperative strategy
- Use of the case method and classroom discussions to analyze both successful and failed firms in the new economy. This will involve:
- Development of student classroom teams
- Each classroom team will undertake research on a particular segment in E-Business using the previously mentioned analysis tools, e.g. online auctions
- Each team will give a weekly presentation on that segment
- Presentations will be discussed during class time.
- A final report by the student classroom team on the development of their own website or E-Commerce product or service will be presented in class.
