Tuition Reminder (updated 03/17/2010)

Instructors seeking tuition free courses and national certification testing must make sure they have taught 32 hours in the 12 months leading up to the course and/or testing and have approval from their Field Director prior to the course or testing.

 

ISO and HSO Adjunct Instructors (updated 02/17/2010)

Per the Pennsylvania State Fire Academy as of May 01, 2010 all ISO and HSO Instructors are to be using the new NFA programs.  Any questions please contact your Field Director or the State Fire Academy.  

 

Annual State Instructor Report (updated 02/03/2010)

Local Level Instructors are reminded that they still need to submit their Annual Instructor Report to the State Fire Academy by April 1, 2010.  Instructors may download the Annual Instructor Report Form which can be found on the State Fire Academy's Website Document Library. Once you have completed it, you should mail it to the attention of your Field Supervisor at State Fire Academy, 1150 Riverside Drive, Lewistown, PA 17044.  

 

IRS Mileage Rate Reminder (updated 12/09/2009)

Attention all Adjuncts: As of January 01, 2010 the BCCC mileage rate (IRS rate) will be $ 0.50.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Reminder: Attaching MapQuest travel directions for the route that you selected, will expedite our processing of your travel voucher.  Please include the exact address (street, city, state, zip code) for the destination point(s).  All travel related reimbursements must be submitted to the College within 30 days of the date of the incurred expenses. Thank you for your cooperation with this process.

 

Duplicating Requests (updated 11/09/2009)

All instructors making a request for duplication must complete the form located on our website under Instructional Forms and submit to the Training Center.  Phone orders will not be accepted, all requests must have an FSC with section number and start date of class.

 


ONGOING REMINDERS

Instructor Payroll can not be processed without completion and submission of all required course paperwork. 

 

STUDENT REGISTRATION FORMS MUST HAVE DOB, NAME (as the student would like their name to appear on their certificate) FULL HOME MAILING ADDRESS, AND STUDENT SIGNATURE (on the bottom of the registration form).
