Basketball

This exciting clinic is designed to teach boys and girls the essential fundamentals of basketball. You will learn all aspects of the game including basketball conditioning, dribbling, ball handling, passing, shooting, screening, offensive-defensive techniques, and rebounding. We will have competitions for shooting, 5 on 5, 3 on 3, dribbling and more. The staff will instruct and evaluate each player's performance and level of improvement. Instructions will be given on an individual basis by outstanding camp staff! Creative Hair Styling & Nail Care

In this fun camp, you will learn all about hair, skin & nails. Learn fun, easy ways to create hairstyles, first on a mannequin, and then on your own hair. Learn the importance of good nutrition and how it affects your hair, skin and nails. You will also learn how to take proper care of your nails and create fun and easy nail designs. Decathlon Camp: Track, Field & Fitness

This Decathlon Camp will challenge you in areas of track, field and overall fitness. Digital Photography - Section Filled!

Ever wonder how Digital Photography works? This class will teach you. You will also learn

Fabulous Fishing

Learn how to safely fish and enjoy the art of fishing each day. All equipment and bait will be supplied. (You may bring your own rod.) Instruction on safe casting, hook removal from fish, baiting of hooks, good fishing areas and good fishing etiquette will be presented. Bring rain gear if necessary. Kid Kuisine I   - Camp Filled

"Kid Kuisine" is a fun-filled training program that will introduce you to the world of culinary arts. In one week, young culinarians will learn proper hygiene, safe food handling, basic cooking and baking principles as well as how to serve a complete made-from-scratch meal. You will work in teams and be instructed by industry-certified chefs.

LEGO Animation - Section Filled

Stop Motion is a powerful animation technique that makes static objects appear to be moving. In this camp, you will use Lego bricks and found objects. Brainstorm your ideas, create the storyboard, construct the props, shoot the still frames and then, using Movie Maker, create the finished animation. Mountain Biking / Disc Golf

Mountain Biking - Enjoy Tyler Park all day, then enjoy an end of the week road trip to the technical trails at Core Creek Park. In this combo class you will learn all about mountain biking: trail riding, bike maintenance and bike safety as well as the exciting sport of disc golf. Whether you're just getting into mountain biking or have been riding for years, you'll learn some valuable tips from this camp. Also included are proper rider positioning, controlled braking and slow speed technical maneuvering, pedaling cadence/gear use, and proper technique for climbing and descending. You must provide your own multi-geared mountain bike. All bikes should be tuned and given a safety inspection ahead of time. For questions call Endurance Sports (215-369-0225). Disc Golf - Disc Golf is a sport similar to golf except the equipment is a disc (Frisbee) that is thrown into metal baskets strategically placed throughout the course. This exciting camp is an introduction to this fun sport. Instruction will cover conduct and order of play, use of discs and rules of play. You will become familiar with the course in Tyler Park and most of all have lots of fun!

Baseball - Pitching & Hitting Clinic

Boys and girls, here is your chance to hone in on the essentials of baseball - pitching and hitting! Emphasis will be placed on learning the proper techniques of these two important components of the game but there will also be time for skill development in catching, throwing, fielding, base running, base stealing and bunting.

Each day will be broken into four mini-sessions. The first three sessions will focus on skill development and the fourth session will be for advanced play, swimming or whiffle ball. Planet Pioneers

Get your ticket for a trip that is truly out of this world! Here is your chance to design your own motorized space settlement, spacecraft, or solar system, while learning about the latest plans to pioneer and colonize outer space. Through films, internet space resources, and other hands-on activities, you will learn about microgravity, magnetic storms, and artificial atmospheres, as well as many other new scientific discoveries. Totally Skateboard - Camp Filled!
(must be at least 9 years old)

Do you grind? Can you ollie? Join us for our skateboard camp and learn all the basics steps needed to become a better skateboarder. We will start at the beginning, covering board stance, turns and pedaling. As your confidence grows we will give you instruction for basic board tricks. As the week progresses and your skills get stronger, you will be able to put them to the test at the Middletown Skateboard Park. Then spend the afternoon making your very own board. You will bend and shape the wood, sand and paint, and finally ride your new board home at the end of the week!

Requirements: Skateboard, helmet, elbow, knee and wrist pads, and a signed waiver. There are no exceptions to the required items. Those who do not have the required items cannot participate.

Inline Skating
Half Day Camp - 9 am-noon only!
(may be paired with Ultimate Frisbee)

Designed with safety in mind, this beginner's In-Line Skating clinic will give you an opportunity to learn the proper techniques of In-Line Skating. Basic safety information will begin with equipment fit, maintenance, and proper use. The basic skills taught will be forward movement, braking and turning. The clinic is structured so that those who quickly master the basics can move on to more advanced skills. You will proceed at your own comfort level. Requirements: Each participant will be required to have a skate with a rear brake, a helmet, and protective gear (elbow, wrist and knee pads). Beginners-Intermediate

Young Actors Workshop - 2 week camp

This enrichment “boot camp” will explore the professional world of theatre. Exercises stress creativity, self-expression and include training voice, movement, improvisation, character development, and performance. Students play roles ranging from whimsy to material that reflects current issues, subjects and relationships using the vernacular of the characters. During our rehearsal week, students are responsible for self-direction and dedication to the performance. As with the professional theater, the play becomes "the thing"! This exciting new camp is great for those campers who enjoy problem solving, engineering, designing, team activities, and a little friendly competition. Roving Reporters - Have you ever wondered what a "hook" is, or considered the "how?" of who, what, where, when, and why? If so, this camp is for you! We will work with print media to learn how to write true stories in a concise and engaging manner, and we will create journalistic articles using photographs brought from home. Beginner's Lacrosse for Boys & Girls

Learn the hottest sport around! The instruction is for boys and girls looking to better their skills. The focus will be placed on drills, skills and rules applicable to both the girls' and boys' game, which are very important toward the development of a complete lacrosse player. Boys and girls will also be split into separate groups so that individual regulations can be covered. Conditioning and running essential to the game are incorporated into all skills. Decathlon Camp: Track, Field & Fitness

This Decathlon Camp will challenge you in areas of track, field and overall fitness. Fabulous Fishing - Section filled!

Learn how to safely fish and enjoy the art of fishing each day. All equipment and bait will be supplied. (You may bring your own rod.) Instruction on safe casting, hook removal from fish, baiting of hooks, good fishing areas and good fishing etiquette will be presented. Bring rain gear if necessary. Brilliant Bridge Builders - This exciting camp is great for those campers who enjoy problem solving, engineering, designing, team activities, and a little friendly competition.
