The Radiography Program is a twenty-four month full-time program that will prepare you to enter the field of diagnostic medical imaging. A new class begins each May. Classroom activities, laboratory, and clinical activities assist in learning radiography. Patient care, radiation protection, and technical skills are emphasized throughout the curriculum. Current clinical sites are Grand View Hospital, St. Mary Medical Center, and Frankford Healthcare System Hospitals. You will receive a certificate at the successful completion of the program and will be eligible for the examination given by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Upon passing the examination, you can become a registered Radiographer or Radiologic Technologist and may work in a variety of settings: hospitals, clinics, physician's offices, mobile x-ray companies, public health, and industry.
