Registration Information
In order to register for the Nurse Aide Training Program, you must have a high school diploma or GED, and complete the following steps:
- Call Carol Bonelli, Program Coordinator, at 215-968-8482, or email her at bonellic@bucks.edu. She will establish your eligibility for the program, schedule you for an assessment test date, and
send you a registration packet. You may also download your registration packet by clicking here.
- Complete the TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education) assessment test. Your score on this test will not exclude you from the program, but will allow the program coordinator to advise you with regard to your
ability to successfully complete the program.
- You must complete a physical, including a 2-step Mantoux test.
- You must complete a Pennsylvania Criminal Background Check (Submit a PA background check online) (download the PA background check form). If you lived in Pennsylvania for less than two years
, you must also complete an FBI Background Check. The FBI check can take up to three months to complete, so please take
this into consideration when registering for the program. Forms for these background checks are included in the registration packet.
- When all of the above steps have been completed satisfactorily and received by the coordinator, you may then register for the program.
