Program Information

Bucks County Community College offers a 100-hour, state Department of Education approved Nurse Aide Training Program designed to prepare students for employment in long-term care facilities. The program, taught by experienced nurses, combines both classroom and cl inical work. It prepares students to take the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP) examination. Students who pass the NNAAP exam are then enrolled on the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry, and are eligible for employment in long-te rm care facilities, hospitals and home care.

Courses are offered at the Newtown, Perkasie and Bristol campuses, and at clinical sites throughout Bucks County.
