The World Wide Web offers Bucks County Community College the opportunity to provide a broad spectrum of institutional information to a large number of people, on campus, in the community, and throughout the world. The web also provides the opportunity for faculty and staff to present materials of a less institutional nature, such as curriculum information and personal web pages, to the same large audience.
Because of their high visibility factor, institutional web pages must follow the college's template for style and guidelines for content in order to represent the College in a coherent and appropriate manner. A publication process has been established to oversee the accuracy of information posted. This process applies only to institutional web pages.
The style, content, and accuracy of information posted on personal web pages are at the discretion of the authors of those web pages; however, a template is provided for faculty and staff to follow.
