Mission Statement

as a community of excellence. In fulfilling this supportive role,
the Foundation's objective is to approach the private sector of
the Bucks County community to secure funds and other assistance
that will be used to enhance ongoing activities and programs and
initiate new programs and services not adequately funded through
traditional sources.
Effective

- Execute the Foundation's Mission to directly support the priority
needs of the College
- Build on the Foundation's successes, using Allocations' priorities
to develop a "Case for Support"
- Effectively utilize all communications modalities to reach
existing and potential donors
- Make specific outreach to faculty, staff, students and alumni

Human Resources
- Develop a strong recruitment and orientation committee to identify
Board leadership; establish member expectations
- Train Board members to be knowledgeable about all BCCC fundraising
efforts and in ways to identify potential donors
- Integrate Board members with all other campus and community
leaders; rehearse the "ask" for support
- Invest in training and expertise of Foundation staff
- Insure technology infrastructure is in place to support the
major activities of the office; always be in a "learning
mode"

- Develop a 12-month calendar of Planned Events
- Identify the College's priority needs and implement fundraising plans to collect the funds needed
- Prioritize potential donors and proactively approach them
- Manage relationships with all major donors
- Prepare a "mutual fund approach" of giving opportunities designed to give donors options and "control" over their gift

- Develop and implement an effective planned giving program
