Board of Directors & Committees
Founded in the early 1980s, the BCCC Foundation and Alumni Association is governed by a Board of Directors dedicated to the betterment of life at Bucks County Community College. Support from people like you, our loyal alumni and friends, is essential to the quality of a college education.
There are many ways to make a gift to BUCKS that will ensure the College's margin of excellence. We offer several gift options, many of which will also assist you in meeting your personal financial goals. Careful planning can help maximize the positive efforts of outright contributions, such as cash, appreciated securities, life insurance policies, gift annuities, as well as deferred gifts, such as bequests and trusts. In addition, the Foundation and Alumni Association both sponsor a variety of special events, such as the Tyler Tasting Party, Golf Classic and Women's Scholarship Tea, to help build community friendships and raise needed funds. Sponsorships of these events not only build community prestige for our many corporate partners, but provides the necessary financial support of a variety of projects and programs that would otherwise not be possible. Another way to make a difference and shape the College's future is by joining one of our planning committees.
The increasing financial demands of a growing community college and the pressures on governmental funding mean corporate and individual philanthropy must play an expanding role by assisting financially needy students, by helping to attract and retain outstanding faculty, and by providing the finest facilities and programs available in community higher education. BUCKS supporters will share an important reward - the personal satisfaction from making an investment in the College's future!
