Biography

I have been teaching at the college level for 25 years. I am married and have two children. I love sports and I have an arts background. Comments on my courses and my approach to teaching: I think of myself as a tour guide for my students. I help them through the chapters but students need to go further and explore the topics on their own. I stress thinking about, not memorization of, material. Students need to “own” the material so that it will be with them for a long time not just to pass a test.
