BiographySince 1994 I have been an adjunct professor at the Bucks County Community College teaching courses in Philosophy. I believe that I had a successful and well integrated career at the Naval Air Development Center, Warminster, PA. From 1960 to 1994 I was a research and development systems engineer; project manager, branch head, and, from 1986, division manager. I led a diversified group of fifty-two projects and systems engineers together with administrative and clerical staff. I retired from the Department of the Navy on 29 September 1994.
Shared ResourcesI emphasize the application of philosophy with special attention to contemporary controversial issues. I will accentuate conservative viewpoints in order to balance the more progressive views that my teaching experience has confirmed an overwhelming majority of students have hitherto been exposed. My education and long term experience in science and engineering give me a familiarity with how (science) the world works so that wondering why (philosophy) it works as it does can be much better conveyed to the student.
