Biography

Married, two children, retired social studies teacher (35 years) from public school (primarily psychology and global studies), have traveled extensively…been around the world, Japan nine times including two sabbaticals. Most recent travel was Habitat for Humanity build in Brazil (March ’08) and China (April ’08) working with Chinese college English majors for a month.

Comments on my courses and my approach to teaching: Heavily discussion oriented: multiple investigations and activities (Audio Visual) with reaction-sheets followed by discussion, minimal lecture.
