Biography

I am currently a member of the adjunct faculty at Bucks and Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, where I’ve taught almost every course in the Liberals Arts Division throughout my 15 year tenure there. My “day job” is principal of Saint Gabriel’s Hall in Audubon, Pa. Saint Gabe’s is a residential school for court adjudicated males from the city of Philadelphia.

Shared Resources

My approach is constructivist in nature. Students construct their own mental models for synthesizing course material into an integrated whole. This would include teaching across academic disciplines by emphasizing larger themes. This instructor differentiates instruction using a project- based approach.

urely my recent work on Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Trauma Informed Care would be useful to my colleagues in meeting the needs of our ever increasing number of students who are veterans of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.
