Biography

I have been practicing counseling and clinical psychology for close to 25 years in schools and in clinical settings. I am a licensed psychologist and a certified guidance counselor. I currently have a very busy part-time practice in Doylestown. I am a solo practitioner but coordinate care with many other professionals in the community. I am a founding board member of Philadelphia Center for Emotionally Focused Therapy, an attachment based form of couples therapy with solid research backing.

Shared Resources

I believe Psychology to be the most interesting field of study and try to encourage students to be just as fascinated. My intention is that any student who is willing to work hard will be successful in the courses I teach, but will also enjoy the work. Because psychology is an essential part of our everyday lives, every student has a base of knowledge and something to contribute to the class.

I have a broad knowledge of clinical information and tools available via the web. I have a background in providing school consultations. I have a close connection to several locally prominent organizations in the autism community and regularly schedule speakers on that topic for my Psych 180 classes. Any faculty member is welcome to encourage their students to attend.
