Biography

While I enjoy all areas of mathematics, I especially like to teach applied math courses like Quantitative Methods and Statistics. In these courses, I stress not only mathematical skills but how and when they are used in real-life applications. This interest follows from my previous work as a statistician and financial analyst. I also like to teach with technology and find it a creative way to help both in-class students and those taking on-line courses.
